Self-hosting Lar

Lar’s self-hosting deployment is not publicly available during the early preview. Public source and deployment instructions will be published before this option is offered.

Planned scope

Section titled “Planned scope”

The planned deployment will cover the compatible sync relay and its optional identity and AI-egress components. Lar will continue to work locally without a hosted service.

  • Run a relay on infrastructure you control.
  • Keep hosted components optional.
  • Configure sync deliberately rather than making it a requirement.
