Presentation mode
Presentation mode derives slides from the current Object body. It does not create a second presentation file.
Structure the deck
Section titled “Structure the deck”- Headings at levels 1 through 4 begin new slides.
- A divider also begins a new slide and is not shown in the result.
- Content before the first heading becomes its own content slide.
- A slide containing only headings is rendered as a section-title slide.
- When the Object has a title or icon, Lar prepends a title slide.
- Heading levels 5 and 6 remain content on the current slide.
Presentation currently renders the supported linear slide content: headings, paragraphs, quotes, lists, and code. Complex interactive blocks should be tested before presenting and may be better represented by a summary or image.
Start presenting
Section titled “Start presenting”- Open an Object with a body.
- Open More and choose Present, or use the configured presentation shortcut (
mod+shift+Pby default). - Use the previous and next controls or keyboard navigation to move through the deck.
- Close the overlay to return to the Object.
The control bar hides while idle and returns with pointer or keyboard activity. Editing the Object changes the source for the next presentation; the presentation overlay itself is read-only.
Prepare a reliable deck
Section titled “Prepare a reliable deck”Use dividers when you need a break without a visible heading. Keep one main idea per heading section, and preview the full deck before sharing your screen.
